I love what I do so much. I'm so passionate about creating fine portraits for people like you. I’m fortunate to have one of the most sought-after photography and cinematography studios on the East coast, creating beautiful artistic photography and video productions. I always strive to make each photograph a masterpiece, emphasizing the artistic techniques and technical excellence that sets my portraiture apart from others. My goal is simple: To create every image in an extraordinarily unique and memorable way for you.
I grew up in Amsterdam, Holland, in an atmosphere steeped in the artistic tradition of Rembrandt, Vermeer, and Van Gogh. In my family, growing up, I was surrounded by many talented painters, designers, photographers, and writers. It comes as no surprise, therefore, that I chose an artistic endeavor as my life's passion. Growing up in a creative family had a profound effect on me. From the time I was a teenager, I knew that I wanted to express myself through the medium of photography. I feel that my photographic style is the result of a unique combination of European and American influences. I'm fluent in English, Dutch, Hebrew, and Yiddish. I enjoy traveling, as our team regularly travels across the United States and overseas. More than anything, I love spending time with my family.

I started taking photographs as a child, and by age 13 I knew this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. My original training (including a stint at the Rochester Institute of Technology) was as a commercial photographer. However, I love photographing people more than anything and capturing the most special moments in their lives. In more than thirty years as a working photographer, I’ve photographed over 3000 events in New York and dozens of other cities in the U.S., Canada, and Europe. I put a lot of effort into my photography. I try to combine sensitivity and respect for the subject with modern, creative graphic elements, without abandoning old-fashioned values like technical excellence. It's critically important to me to be able to trust the studio I work with to carry my vision through to the finished product. I trust Mendel Meyers.
